Gloucestershire Clubs get ready for kick off

With the home Rugby World Cup rapidly approaching, grassroots clubs are getting ready.  Since Gloucester is one of the 13 host city, rugby clubs in the surrounding area have a fantastic opportunity to grab public attention.
As part of its strategic planningprocess Gloucestershire RFU ran six workshops for clubs in each of its 'combinations'.  OWL Ltd wasinvited to deliver an inspirational presentation at the end of each session to raise volunteers' awareness of the potential opportunities to capitalize on the first home tournament for 20 years.

The presentation focused on the legacy strands:
Building Capacity
Better facilities
Investing in People
More schools
Growing Participation
Lapsed players
Touch rugby
Other nations
Cultural engagement
Workshops took place at six rugby clubs: Stroud, Berry Hill, Cheltenham North, North Bristol, Cleve and Gordon League
